Yuri Suguiyama's first contract to be the University of Wisconsin swimming and diving head coach will pay him $150,000 annually in base salary.
Suguiyama was named to the Badgers' head coaching position — his first job at that level in college after six seasons as an assistant with the Cal men's team — in April.
His three-year contract, which was released by UW in response to an open records request, also includes a one-time, lump-sum automobile allowance from the school. No amount was included.
Hite and UW parted ways in March after seven seasons.
