Madison – Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst had to like what he saw from his defense in Week 2, even if the opponent was a few notches below what the Badgers faced in the opener against Alabama and will soon face in the Big Ten Conference.
UW's special teams also contributed several big plays.
However, Chryst couldn't have been pleased with his running game, which two games into the 2015 season, remains unimpressive.
UW managed only 58 yards on 21 carries in the opening half against Miami (Ohio) Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium but dominated in all other phases en route to a 58-0 victory in front a crowd of 76,535 fans.
