Badger football hosts the Utah State Aggies on September 1st at 8 p.m. CST. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
At present, the Wisconsin game is the only one slated to be on national television that day. On Saturday, Alabama will take on Florida State televised on ABC at 4 p.m. CST.
Wisconsin’s last season opener under the lights at Camp Randall was in 2011. Russell Wilson made his Badger debut in a 51-17 victory over UNLV. Wilson was an efficient 10-13, 255 yards, 62 yards rushing, and 3 total TDs.
