Wisconsin announces LB T.J. Edwards will join the Philadelphia Eagles

Though teams passed on selecting Wisconsin Badgers linebacker T.J. Edwards during the 2019 NFL Draft, it appears he has found a home.

Wisconsin’s social media accounts announced on Saturday night that Edwards found an organization to play for, congratulating him “on signing with” the Philadelphia Eagles.

Based on the wording, one infer that this is an undrafted free agent (UDFA) deal, though that is still not publicly confirmed. The Eagles have not yet officially released its list of UDFA signees as well.

Edwards played in 53 games during his UW career, starting 52 of those contests.
