The Wisconsin Badgers returned one of their deepest position groups back to the fold this year at safety, with nearly every rotational piece and starter coming back for another season.
The group is led by star Hunter Wohler, who accumulated 120 tackles and two interceptions in a stellar season last year, leading him to think about the NFL before returning back to college.
Behind him, Kamo’i Latu, Austin Brown, and Preston Zachman, who were the three other safeties in the two-deep, all came back, and are expected to play in some capacity in 2024.
Back in the spring, Brown started off at nickelback, which was the role he played in the team’s bowl game against LSU after former starter Jason Maitre opted out.
