The Wisconsin Badgers picked up a 28-14 victory in the season opener last Friday, defeating the Western Michigan Broncos at Camp Randall Stadium in Week 1.
It was an interesting game from start to finish, as Wisconsin couldn’t get much going offensively, scoring 14 points through the first three quarters before putting up two touchdowns in the final frame.
It was a run-dominant approach from the Badgers, who tallied 196 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the ground off 46 carries, while quarterback Tyler Van Dyke threw for 192 yards on 21/36 passing.
Will Pauling was the clear top target with six catches for 60 yards, while Bryson Green caught four passes for 39 yards.
