The Wisconsin Badgers got a major addition to their 2025 class last week when four-star quarterback Carter Smith committed to the program, marking their second addition at the position in the class.
Smith, who attends Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers, Florida, is Wisconsin’s highest-ever commitment from the state, and is the second-highest quarterback recruit in program history behind Graham Mertz.
Smith marks the second recent high-profile addition for the Badgers, as they also flipped four-star outside linebacker/defensive end Jaylen Williams from the Michigan Wolverines to bring their class total up to 25 commits in the cycle.
