Obviously the ultimate bragging rights are going to go to the team that won in the Final Four, but there is something to be said for getting a bit of revenge to kickstart the new season.
The Wisconsin Badgers Women’s Volleyball team got just that opportunity on Sunday at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee when they took the court against defending National Champion Texas, the team that knocked them out of the Final Four last December. The match also provided them an opportunity to get in the win column after Tuesday’s disappointing loss to Louisville in the season opener.
