The Wisconsin Badgers game against USC was a tale of two halves. In the first half, the Badgers seemed to have a cohesive plan both offensively and defensively that led to a 21-10. The second half was never going to be easy, so Wisconsin needed to continue to bring their A-game.
They did not bring their A-game.
I’d argue it was their D game. Wisconsin seemed to abandon all things that went well for them on offense in the first half, which led to multiple three-and-outs and punts.
On the defensive side, they kept USC contained and forced a punt, which returner Tyrell Henry muffed, leading to an easy possession in the red zone for the USC Trojans.
