The Wisconsin Badgers extended their winning streak to three games yesterday as they beat Northwestern 23-3. Wisconsin has played extremely well these past three games and has their biggest test yet as they host No. 3 ranked Penn State.
Here’s what went right for Wisconsin yesterday.
Defense
Mike Tressel’s defense has allowed a grand total of 16 points in the Badgers’ past three games, which is the fewest for the Badgers in a three-game conference stretch since 1998. The Badgers went 11-1 that season and won the Rose Bowl. I’m not saying that this Badgers squad is going to be as good as that team, but they have definitely impressed and played at a high level.
