The Wisconsin Badgers had their first open practice of the season, where media got a glance at the new-look team that includes five new scholarship players.
It was a day filled with competitiveness as the Badgers got back into it, with the coaches focusing on a number of areas and letting the players battle.
If you missed it, here were my three takeaways from the initial practice back on Thursday.
I thought that the guards stood out, with Wisconsin having five key players that should fit into the rotation with Camren Hunter, Max Klesmit, John Blackwell, Daniel Freitag, and Kamari McGee.
