After consecutive victories in the Fort Myers Classic Tipoff last week, the Badgers continued their success at home, defeating the Western Illinois Leathernecks 71-49 to improve to 5-2 on the season.
In the game, the Badgers had one of their most efficient performances on offense, while holding the Leathernecks to under 40 percent shooting defensively.
The Badgers had four players in double figures as Steven Crowl, Tyler Wahl, Chucky Hepburn, and A.J. Storr combined for 51 points on 19/29 in the winning effort.
Storr was the early riser, scoring nine early points, which set the tone for the Badgers in their quick start.
