Madison— The one blemish on Dave Aranda's résumé as Wisconsin's defensive coordinator is easily identifiable.
UW has struggled to force turnovers in two seasons under Aranda's leadership.
In 2013, UW forced 20 turnovers (11 fumbles, nine interceptions) in 13 games. UW finished tied for the No. 6 mark in the Big Ten.
Last season, UW forced only 17 turnovers (11 fumbles, six interceptions) in 14 games. That was good for a tie for 10th in the Big Ten.
"Momentum has a lot to do with it," Aranda said Friday after practice, the team's fifth of camp.
