UW tailback Corey Clement cited for disorderly conduct

Madison — Wisconsin's Corey Clement received two citations for disorderly conduct Tuesday because of his role in an off-campus fight earlier this month, and UW officials explained a misleading statement that was released in the wake of the incident involving the junior tailback.

According to Madison Police:

Clement instigated the fight with several individuals and threw the first punch Nov. 8 at his off-campus apartment.

Two men and a woman involved in the incident also were cited for disorderly conduct.

UW officials released a statement Nov. 12 that depicted Clement intervening in a fight between several individuals and a security guard.
