Madison — After Wisconsin concluded preseason camp last month, it appeared safety Arrington Farrar was a candidate to redshirt this season.
"He was a guy that because of some unfortunate things in camp, we didn't really get a true evaluation of," secondary coach Daronte' Jones said.
Farrar missed a couple days of practice after suffering a left leg injury. Near the end of the first week of camp, he was diagnosed with mononucleosis.
Yet after missing more than two weeks of practice and the opener against Alabama, Farrar played on special teams last week against Miami (Ohio).
