Madison — The Wisconsin men's hockey team and Ohio State traded goals in pairs, leading to a 4-4 tie Saturday night at the Kohl Center in which each goal was scored by a different player.
The Buckeyes (6-11-1, 1-2-1 Big Ten) tallied the first two goals in the opening period, but the Badgers (4-8-6, 1-3-2) pulled within one before intermission thanks to Ryan Wagner's marker at 19:35.
UW drew even just 49 seconds into the second courtesy of an Adam Rockwood goal.
The Buckeyes, though, regained a two-goal lead later in the second.
Once again Wisconsin got within one before intermission, this time on a goal from Nick Kunin at 19:48.
