The Wisconsin Badgers had a busy 2023 NHL Draft, as four of their players were taken a year ago: Charlie Stramel, Brady Cleveland, William Whitelaw, and Zach Schulz.
It was a bit of a different look in the 2024 NHL Draft, but Wisconsin still saw two of their recruits taken within nine picks of each other in the fourth round.
Defenseman Luke Osburn, one of the youngest players in the draft, was taken in the fourth round with the No. 108 pick by the Buffalo Sabres. He’s projected to join the Badgers in the 2026-27 season.
