Two recent Wisconsin Badger grads have good cause to update their resumes and LinkedIn profiles as the enter the professional job market. They have a new award to add that is probably more universally accepted by potential employers than say shooting percentage.
Vitto Brown from the Wisconsin men’s basketball team and Sydney McKibbon from Wisconsin women’s hockey received the Big Ten Outstanding Sportsmanship Award.
The award honors both academic and athletic achievements as well as community engagement work.
One member of each varsity sports team on every campus was chosen by his or her institution as a Sportsmanship Award honoree, and two Outstanding Sportsmanship Award winners were then selected from each institution.
