GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The latest developments from the College Football Playoff national championship game between Clemson and Alabama (all times local):

With gold confetti being shot out of cannons, Alabama coach Nick Saban trotted to midfield to meet Clemson coach Dabo Swinney. The two shook hands, and the crowd stood and cheered.
Alabama fans, and Clemson fans.
The Crimson Tide won their fourth national championship in seven years with a 45-40 victory over the Tigers in a duel in the desert that keeps coach Saban's dynasty going.
"I aged a little bit with this," Saban said.
