The Wisconsin women’s hockey team, which opens the season September 27 at Lindenwood, was selected to win the WCHA by the coaches.
Rival Minnesota was selected to finish second, and received a first place vote from Wisconsin head coach Mark Johnson, who could not vote for his own squad.
