The Ballad of Bob the Bucky Wrangler

Related Topics: Madison, wrangler, Memorial Union, Bucky

In a town known as Madison, Wisconsin
Wrote a man with a laptop in his hands
And his busy life at work
Made him (a little bit) a jerk
In the land, of the Badger fans

Well he started out by going to his office
To his surprise, an email crossed his eyes
“At our next college event, we think you are quite lucky
your job is to wrangle Bucky.”

Bucky never traveled heavy
But he never rides alone
And he jumps in every fountain that he sees
Everyone’s his sweetheart
He’ll hug you and you’ll blush
He never speaks; he’s as silent as the trees

Bucky started over at Memorial Union
Bob the wrangler just couldn’t track him down
And it served his legend well
For the folks they’d love to tell ‘bout when Bucky the Badger came to town.
