The Wisconsin Badgers had to deal with a midseason quarterback change for the second consecutive season, with Braedyn Locke taking over for Tyler Van Dyke after the latter suffered a season-ending torn ACL.
Locke, who completed 13/25 passes for 126 yards against Alabama in Week 3, took all of the reps with the top offense during the bye week, and is now preparing as the starter for Wisconsin ahead of their Week 5 matchup against the USC Trojans.
How has Locke stepped up over the last week after becoming the starter?
“I think it’s leadership,” head coach Luke Fickell said.
