Madison — After spending the first eight days of preseason camp trying to rediscover the wide receiver skills he flashed in high school, Wisconsin senior Tanner McEvoy returned to safety Tuesday.
No, the UW staff hasn't scrapped the plan to utilize McEvoy's skills on offense. Rather, defensive coordinator Dave Aranda wanted to ensure the senior gets enough work on defense to be ready for the Sept. 5 opener against Alabama.
McEvoy and fellow senior Michael Caputo worked with the No. 1 defense, as they did all spring. The No.
