Madison — Attempting to draw conclusions too early in football camp, particularly before the players are allowed to work in full pads, can be dicey.
Yet after watching Tanner McEvoy get his first extensive work at wide receiver under head coach Paul Chryst, it appears to be a safe bet the fifth-year senior will help Wisconsin's passing game this season.
"I think he is a big body that can run and has really good hands," Chryst said Monday afternoon after UW's first practice of camp. "I think he's got a good football IQ.
