When UW and Purdue met in 2013 in Madison, Rob Henry started at quarterback for the Boilermakers. Last season at Purdue, Austin Appleby got the start. This season? Redshirt freshman David Blough, who replaced Appleby after three games, should face UW.
Blough, 6 feet 1 inch and 202 pounds, has completed only 53.5% of his passes and has more interceptions (five) than touchdown passes (four). Appleby's numbers are only slightly better — 54.5% completion rate with six touchdowns and five interceptions.
Senior Danny Anthrop (25 catches, 225 yards) is the team's No. 1 wide receiver. He missed the UW game last season because of a knee injury suffered in a loss to Nebraska.
