Alabama must replace several key players from last season and the two biggest names on offense are wide receiver Amari Cooper (1,727 receiving yards, 16 touchdowns) and quarterback Blake Sims (3,487 passing yards, 28 TDs).
Coach Nick Saban hasn't named a starting quarterback and it appears three players remain in the running to open against Wisconsin.
They are: redshirt sophomore Cooper Bateman, senior Jake Coker and junior Alec Morris. Coker played in seven games last season and completed 64.4% of his passes for 403 yards, with four TDs and no interceptions. He has the strongest arm of the trio but hasn't done enough in camp to win the job decisively.
