The Wisconsin Badgers made one of the more intriguing hires of the offseason when they landed former USC Trojans defensive coordinator Alex Grinch as their next safeties coach, replacing Colin Hitschler.
Grinch, 43, was the defensive coordinator over the past two seasons at USC, but was let go with two games left in the season after the defensive woes continued throughout the year.
Prior to the stop at USC, Grinch was the defensive coordinator at Oklahoma under head coach Lincoln Riley, but now will make the move back to a position coach role at Wisconsin as the next safeties coach.
