According to the Chicago Tribune’s Teddy Greenstein, the Wisconsin Badgers will reportedly play in another professional stadium during the 2020 season. This time, however, UW will head to Chicago’s Wrigley Field when they face the Northwestern Wildcats in Big Ten action.
The schools have not officially confirmed this yet, though Greenstein reports the Chicago Cubs and Northwestern will announce it on Tuesday, June 5.
Yes, Wrigley Field is not a professional football stadium, but the Nov. 7 match-up of that year will allow the Wisconsin faithful to travel to Northern Illinois and watch a game from a historic stadium.
