Could a former walk-on not named Joe Schobert be the first Wisconsin Badgers player taken in the 2016 NFL Draft?
According to a Friday report by Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net that was posted on WalterFootball.com, quarterback Joel Stave may be drafted sooner than many pundits and experts predicted. Per the longtime draft analyst:
Don't be surprised if quarterback Joel Stave sneaks into the third round tonight. I've heard rumblings about Stave being a third-round pick since the Shrine Game and have reported as much. These opinions came back to me again this week, and there are teams out there who have a late third-round grade on Stave.
