In a major change, Wisconsin Badgers running back Chez Mellusi is stepping away from the program, according to the Wisconsin State Journal’s Colten Bartholemew.
Mellusi, a sixth-year senior, is stepping away to continue rehabbing his injuries as a statement from the team revealed that the top back’s body has not been able to perform at his level of expectations this year.
“We want to let people know that Chez is going to be stepping away from the team for now and working to get his body healthy,” the statement said, via the Wisconsin State Journal.
