Report card: Wisconsin vs. Minnesota

Minneapolis — Jeff Potrykus reviews Wisconsin's 31-21 victory over Minnesota Saturday in Minneapolis.

OFFENSE (B)

With three defensive tackles out because of injury, Minnesota was short-handed. Everyone in the Big Ten knows about the Gophers' string of injuries because their coaches have been banging that drum all season. We get it. Injuries happen.

Yet the fact UW's coaches tweaked the offensive line again, started four redshirt freshmen and ran the ball with authority for 199 yards and four touchdowns in the first half was remarkable.

Kudos to the linemen, as well as the tight ends and fullbacks.
