From the opener against Alabama through the victory over Hawaii, a case can be made that the line is the most improved unit on the team and redshirt freshman Taiwan Deal is the most improved player. Deal is allowing his blocking to develop, making decisive cuts once he sees daylight and running with power.
As well as Deal ran Saturday, one of his more impressive plays was a cut block against a blitzing defender.
