The Wisconsin Badgers are looking into the future, as they added William & Mary to their 2028 football schedule, according to Kevin Kelley of FBschedules.com.
The game is set for Saturday, September 9th, 2028, and will mark the first-ever meeting between the two universities in football. William & Mary will receive a guaranteed amount of $600,000 for coming to Madison to play.
William & Mary will be Wisconsin’s second of three consecutive home opponents to begin the 2028 football season. The Badgers will open the season against the Marshall Thundering Herd on September 2nd, followed by William & Mary and new Big 12 member Utah.
