The Wisconsin Badgers lost their fifth straight game on Friday, dropping a 24-7 game to the Minnesota Golden Gophers to give up the Axe Trophy and a chance at bowl eligibility, capping off a disappointing season.
It was a tough day for the Badgers, who couldn’t establish any success offensively, while their defense got off to a slow start, leading to a porous finish to the year, as Wisconsin ended at 5-7.
