Former Wisconsin Badgers Nigel Davis-Hayes and Micah Potter have gotten the opportunity to practice and play with the USA Olympic Basketball Team this summer, initially working with the select team before joining the top group as they played in exhibition games over the past week.
Davis-Hayes, a EuroLeague star for Fenerbahce, is coming off a career year where he averaged 15.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, while also dropping a EuroLeague record 50 points in a game this season.
The former Badger has been in the EuroLeague since the 2019-20 season, initially playing for Zalgiris for two seasons before moving to Barcelona for a year and now playing with Fenerbahce for the last two years.
