MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Mississippi's Robert Nkemdiche will not return to Saturday's game against Memphis after the team says he suffered a concussion in the second quarter.
The 6-foot-5, 296-pound Nkemdiche, who usually plays defensive tackle, was injured while running the ball in a short-yardage situation. He's been used several times on offense this season and scored three touchdowns.
Memphis was beating No. 13 Ole Miss 31-14 early in the third quarter.
