Ohio State edges UW hockey in offensive battle

Columbus, Ohio — The Wisconsin men's hockey team just couldn't keep up in an offensive battle.

Six players scored goals for Ohio State in its 6-5 win over the Badgers at Value City Arena on Saturday night.

The first period couldn't have gone much better for UW (6-16-8, 1-11-4-2 Big Ten). Grant Besse, Luke Kunin and Jake Linhart found the back of the net for a 3-1 lead after the first 20 minutes.

But the Buckeyes (10-17-3, 5-8-3-1) got three of the four goals in the second period to even the score. Will Johnson was the goal-scorer for the Badgers.
