No. 6 Wisconsin volleyball started conference play with a bang on Wednesday, sweeping Ohio State 25–19, 25–17, 25–15 at a sold-out Field House.
The Badgers (8–1) continued their run of strong defense, holding the Buckeyes to just .124 for the match, including .044 in the decisive third set. Senior middle blocker Tionna Williams set the tone with four blocks.
Wisconsin hit .269 for the match. Sophomore middle blocker Dana Rettke had 11 kills. Redshirt sophomore outside hitter Molly Haggerty had four aces.
