Fresh off a 74-67 win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers, the No. 12 Wisconsin Badgers are hosting the Penn State Nittany Lions for their final game in the regular season.
Wisconsin had some serious adversity against Minnesota, struggling to get their offense going, but they finished strong, thanks to key plays from John Blackwell, John Tonje, and Jack Janicki.
As a result, the Badgers kept their hopes alive for a double-bye, which could come to fruition on Saturday with a win over Penn State. Wisconsin needed two things to happen to secure a top-four seed in next week’s Big Ten Tournament.
