David Pfaff came to Madison as an in-state standout from Homestead (Mequon, Wis) High School in Gary Andersen’s last recruiting class as head coach of the Badgers. While Pfaff took a couple of seasons to achieve the consistency defensive line coach Inoke Breckterfield needed to put him into the lineup, Pfaff eventually became a valuable piece of the defensive line rotation for the Badgers.
As a senior, Pfaff played in nine games, and recorded one quarterback hit.
