The Wisconsin Badgers weren't finished on Saturday as late news from New Orleans had the Saints signing Michael Caputo as an undrafted free agent. The Saints formally made their free agent signings official on Monday, but Aaron Wilson from the Houston Chronicle initially reported the deal late Saturday evening. For Caputo, this is a potentially good place to land, as the Saints averaged 413.8 yards of total defense.
Even though the Saints do have Kenny Vaccaro and Jairus Byrd as a strong safety tag team who are going to be joined with a second round pick who they traded up for in Vonn Bell, there is definitely a chance for Caputo to come out of training camp on the 53 man roster as a fourth safety.
