The Wisconsin Badgers finished up their final open practice of fall camp on Saturday, which was a scrimmage-like format, as they now turn their heads towards preparing for the upcoming season.
One of the big focuses throughout fall camp has been the injury of right tackle Riley Mahlman, as the starter missed the second half of camp with a lower leg injury, prompting the Badgers to go with a combination of Kevin Heywood and Barrett Nelson at tackle.
Despite the injury, the coaching staff has said on multiple occasions that they believe it not to be a serious concern, but the missed days have continued to stack up.
