The Wisconsin Badgers saw their quarterback outlook change in a second on Saturday, as starter Tyler Van Dyke suffered a torn ACL on the first drive against the Alabama Crimson Tide, leading to Braedyn Locke taking over, which will be the case for the remainder of the season.

Locke, a redshirt sophomore, has now been inserted midseason as the starter for the second consecutive season, only this time, it’s expected to be a permanent change with Van Dyke out for the year.
