The Wisconsin Badgers football team will miss out on one of the top players from the 2015 recruiting class as it was announced Thursday that Jordan Stevenson, one of the top-ranked high school running backs in the country, was denied admissions at UW.

Stevenson, who hails from South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas, announced via Twitter Thursday that

He later Tweeted: “With all do respect My recruitment is official open to any Division One program for the 2015 season…”
The loss will sting for the Badgers, as Stevenson was considered the 17th best running back in the country and the 30th best prospect out of Texas by 247Sports.
