Joe Schobert and the Wisconsin Badgers defense were the bright spot in an otherwise dismal performance against Iowa to open the Big Ten season as the Badgers fell to the Hawkeyes 10-6.

Both Iowa scores came off of two of the Badgers four turnovers, and the Badgers defense gave up the 10 points despite five Iowa drives that reached Wisconsin’s red zone.
In the loss, Wisconsin’s defense gave the offense chances again and again, but the offense couldn’t put more than a pair of field goals on the board.
