The Wisconsin Badgers fell in a close 71-62 game to the Michigan State Spartans at the Breslin Center on Sunday, dropping to fourth in the Big Ten with a 12-6 conference record.
It was a back-and-forth game for much of the contest, but Michigan State took the lead in the second half and controlled a close game from there on out, ultimately winning by nine to record their fifth straight marquee win.
The Badgers shot an ugly 5/32 from deep in the loss, while also struggling on the offensive glass, which wasn’t a pretty formula against a gritty Michigan State team.
