The Wisconsin Badgers got their third consecutive victory to start the year, as they blew out the Appalachian State Mountaineers 87-56 in their biggest win of the year to date.
It was a much-needed game for the Badgers, who put together a strong performance on both sides of the ball, breaking away with a 24-0 run in the back end of the first half to pull away early.
Offensively, the Badgers started slow, but really picked things up after that, putting up 36 points in the first half before following that up with 51 points in the second half, thanks to an early onslaught that kept the game well out of reach for the entire period.
