The No. 15 Wisconsin Badgers extended their winning streak to five games on Wednesday, defeating the Ohio State Buckeyes 71-60 in a defensive showdown, improving to 12-3 on the season.
It was a tight battle from the get-go, as both teams didn’t allow the other to go on a major run, with the score being 35-33 in the Badgers’ favor at halftime.
Offensively, the Badgers were very efficient, scoring 1.246 points per possession, but it was a slower-paced game, hence the 71 points.
Defensively, Wisconsin let up only 60 total points, as they held guards Bruce Thornton and Roddy Gayle Jr.
