The Wisconsin Badgers lost their first game of the season on Saturday, falling to the Alabama Crimson Tide 42-10 in a blowout at Camp Randall Stadium.
Offensively, the Badgers faced a tough injury as quarterback Tyler Van Dyke was carted off on the first drive, with his season outlook in question. From there, Wisconsin couldn’t generate much in the air. Their run game had some bright moments, but it wasn’t enough with Alabama’s defense selling out to defend the ground game.
Defensively, Wisconsin had their moments, but Alabama was able to create explosives and capitalize on Badgers mistakes to produce six touchdown drives.
