The Wisconsin Badgers lost their second consecutive game on Saturday, falling to the USC Trojans in a 38-21 contest at the LA Memorial Coliseum in their first conference game of the season.
Offensively, the Badgers started strong, generating three touchdown drives in the first half, with the passing game hitting on some explosive plays, while the run game had a level of consistency to it. However, they were blanked in the second half, punting three times, turning it over on downs twice, and giving up one turnover, a pick-six.
Defensively, Wisconsin didn’t play as bad of a game as the box score may indicate, but the USC offense just made play after play, as the Badgers defense couldn’t get off the field on third downs.
